In Front of the Lens. Part 1

I had my first photo session since our wedding almost 3 years ago taken last Saturday. I was super excited and nervous. I was excited to have some terrific pictures be taken and nervous to be on the other side of the camera. Here is a list of things I learned from the wonderful photographer and my own insights.

1) Prep - She sent me a link to her pinterest page so that I could see the kind of photos she was inspired by as well as outfit ideas. She also suggested colors and said that I could send her photos of what I was thinking of bringing to the session and to bring a few outfits to the session.

2) Relax - At the session we sat on the couch and got to know each other a little bit better. It also gave me the chance to stop sweating.

3) Vision & Direction - She was excellent at making sure hairs were in place and giving targeted direction.

I learned a lot from being in front of the lens and hope to be more like her. I can't wait to see the images this coming Saturday.

Stay tuned for part 2!
