We had a great winter break over here in the Hernandez home. Christmas was great, we had gingerbread waffle for Christmas Eve Dinner, and Little Fish loved his toys. I didn't take any photos because I wanted to be fully present.
I did however take a number of photographs during our trip to Torrey and Midway.
Torrey, for those of you who don't know, and most people don't know, I didn't know, is near Capitol Reef Park about 3 hours from Salt Lake. It's beautiful and we are blessed to have friends who let us stay at their place and encourage us to go all the time, and we wish we could.
We came back and the very next day we left for Midway. But, that didn't deter me from taking some photos of Little Fish in his natural habitat.
Midway is beautiful. It is high in the mountains and covered in snow. It looks like a fairy tale, the trees are flocked, icicles are dripping from the rooftops. It's magical. The food is delicious and there are plenty of outdoor activities to burn off your delicious meal, that is if your not snuggled up close to a fire looking out a window that you could swear is painting.
There are many more photos, but I didn't want to overwhelm you. These are just a few of my favorites. There are others that are a little more personal and need more explanation. They are memories. Also, I'm debating on blogging every other week instead of once a week.
P.S. I just named this post and realized it deserves to be told from a different point of view, so I am sorry if my words have disappointed you.
